1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass supreme s review from North America

Replaced two batteries. (One because dome light still on on cold winter...)

Front Brake pad every 20000 (with the cheapest).

The weak Driving light change for more powerful units, low and high beam.

All disk brake rotors 2 times.

Tires. (now with CompT/AZR 245/50R16)

Really impressive!!!

Alternator 5x. One by year on summer!!!

Starter fail (faulty remote starter).

Car remote control module shortcut.

Steering harness replaced on warranty.

Air conditioning went.

Power windows switch sometime faulty.

Transmission fail at 105000.

The thermostat has been replaced +

dextron coolant (pink)

Driver safety belt come lose with no lock???

(happened on a medium crash and never pull back,i hurt myself because of it!!!)

Original exhaust except muffler.

Powerful and comfortable, but not reliable at all... I love this vehicle, the engine really kick ass, but... VERY HIGH COST MAINTENANCE, Even a jaguar is less than that. Forgot all other said and listen.. the engine MUST have a good SYNTHETIC oil like castrol. I put 5w50 and still run like a new and do not have, even the smallest oil leak. The alternator is mount on the crazies place it can be, it take at least 3 and half hours to change it. I really don't know what engineer's think to locate this vital part at the hot'ess place on the car, they has virtually no air to cold it. And time to replace it$$$$$.

And now... WHAT in going to broke this week...

... but if is only highway you do and not just city (Montreal) like me. This car maybe more reliable.
