1983 AMC Eagle sportwagon review from North America
"A very good bargain and excellent buy!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced pcv hose.
Replaced radiator with heavy duty radiator at 147000 (3 core modine for the
price of the stock unit)
New air filter.
Valve cover leaks (common problem according to don-a-vee jeep)
General comments?
The car handle most off road situations quite well.
Went on the backside of big bear lake ca had no problems fording
a small 2 foot deep stream.
On long trips the eagle averaged 25 mpg at 70 mph.
This car is very roomy and comfortable for long road trips.
