1988 Mazda 323 SE review from North America
"A great affordable car for anyone!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the Alternator at 105,000 miles.
General comments?
I replaced the Alternator, of which I was told it was the original one.
The engine is original, it has not been rebuilt.
The car performs with great acceleration and runs very smooth.
I checked out the front and rear brakes when I first bought it and they still look like new, so the car is very easy on the brakes. The spark plugs and air filter looked new when I got the car and they still look great as well.
The car has been easy to maintain, gets great gas mileage, and was easily affordable to have the Alternator repaired.
Other than replacing the right front lens, there was nothing much I had to do to get this car on the road. For a total of $180 in parts, the car
cost me $430 so far. Not bad for the surprise in how well this nice little car has been.
I would highly approve of this car to anyone. For how old the car is, the original Interior and Exterior held up quite well as I have had other vehicles that were newer and just fell apart inside and out.
I feel so safe about this car that it will now be passed down to my son for him to use to go back and forth to school in.
We just can't say enough nice things about this great little car we have!
