1993 Nissan Altima GLE review from North America
"A few faults, but overall, a nice car."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioning stopped working 8 months after I bought the car.
Antenna is quirky and ninety percent of the time won't go up or down without assistance.
When the outside temperature is below 65 degrees, heads up display does not light up. Depending on how cold it is determines the time for the display to appear. (Anywhere from 5-20 minutes)
Speedometer is approximately 3-4 miles slow.
Seatbelt light/audible ding goes off without warning or reason.
Alternator had to be replaced in 2002.
General comments?
Despite these minor problems, it has been a fairly reliable car.
It handles nicely and the next vehicle I buy will most likely be another Nissan.
