General comments?
Bang for the buck, this car is GREAT. The 5.7L LS1 under the hood is EXACT same killer motor that is injected into the 2001 Corvette. My Camaro was tested on a dynomometer and made MORE HP than my friends 2000 Corvette. What more needs to be said. I'll tell you... the car handles the twisties better than almost all, but the exotics. The SS version with the upgraded suspension can even compete in that realm. Oh, and on the highway, while locked in 6th gear, I average 27-30 mpg. Not bad for a car that has been driven to 12.8 at 108 in the quarter mile... BONE STOCK, down to the paper filter.
On the bad side, if you are big, or not in the drivers seat, comfort is an issue. Other than that, I wish GM would come out with a new iteration of this car while keeping the same formula: Corvette power, awesome handeling, sleek looks, rear wheel drive and a low sticker price. This LS1 Camaro is truely world class performance for $20,000.
