1997 Chevrolet Lumina LS review from North America

I have replaced the alternator and the price was reasonable.

I had to replace the fuel pump and again the price was reasonable.

The moon roof has been starting to get finicky, and when I asked the body shop as to replacement of the motor the price was a little high about $200 so I have yet to have the job done, but the

feature is important to me so I will do it prior to summer.

I have not put one dime other than those repairs, and regular expected routine maintenance, in the upkeep of my car.

I love the fuel mileage, about 30 on highway and 25 in city.

Performance is excellent, passing is like being shot from a pistol, very quick when called upon to be.

The car corners like a slot car and is so easy to steer I find my self getting lazy when cornering.

I have made use of the anti-lock brakes regularly as I live in the country and drive back roads with impedances like deer on a regular basis.

The interior is leather and with all those miles it looks fine.

The fit of the 4 doors, moon roof, and windows is so good I have been told the car has no road noise and is very quiet at speeds up to 80 mph. above that I was told it doesn't matter, the sirens would cover it anyway!
