2003 Renault Clio Dynamique review from UK and Ireland

OK where do I start!! this car was purchased brand new march 2003 literally 4 days after the 03 plate was available. from the day it left the showroom the passenger side lock was not working and had to go back for repair. this is a car that cost me £8750. since then like other comments that have been left on this site I've had the same problems such as: sunroof rattles, brakes squeaky, left front tyre wears out much quiker than the others, engine rattles, gear slips out, I'm getting around 29mpg on a 1.2 16v car!! steering wheel is rattly, theres a funny noise coming from the front left side when ever the car goes over a speed hump or hole in the road, then engine cut out twice on the A406 which is a busy motorway.

I've had the brake pads replaced 2 times already, front tyres have been replaced twice.

The car has jus gone in for its first service... Reanult have just informed me that the brake discs are damaged 'liped' and the pads are severely worn (2rd set on) and all for tyres need replacing again!!

And its through my utter frustration I've decided to take out some time and share my experiances with other clio users.

The Car is a good looking car no doubt about that. just a shame about the build quality and cheap parts especially the interior which rattles a lot and some places like the glove box has come out of line.
