1998 Hyundai Elantra GLS review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car is no Honda. I have never been totally satisfied with it's performance. The warranty is not as good a it seems. My main complaint is that the interior door latches break. I have replaced these latches 5 times. I have to roll my window down to exit my car, and in the winter the window freezes, so I am trapped in my car. I have contacted Hyundai several times regarding this situation, they state no recall has been issued. I have filed a complaint nationally.
