1992 Honda del Sol Si review from North America
"This car is cute, fun, economical, and reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The distributor had to be replaced at 100,000 miles; and again at 125,000 miles.
Replaced clutch at 150,000 miles.
Roof and trunk leak in heavy rain (though this only started when the car was 11 years old).
Weather strips had to be replaced at 130,000 miles (this did not stop the leaking however).
General comments?
I have driven this car for 7 years, with an average daily commute of 100 miles, and it has held up wonderfully.
It still runs great and is nearing 200,000 miles.
The gas mileage is great, and driving it is fun.
The only downsides to this car are:
1. It is not comfortable for tall people (which thankfully I am not).
2. It is so small that it has been backed into 3 times by big trucks and sport utility vehicles who did not see it.
