1999 BMW M Roadster ZM ROADSTER review from UK and Ireland

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Anti roll bars readjusted a few times, tyres, airbag light, other than that Nothing. Only had a year.
General comments?
Where do I start, this car is something else!
I'm only 21 but I've driven and owned quite a few high performance cars, but nothing comes close to this car for speed.
My last fast car was a Celica GT4 CARLOS SAINZ (lightly tuned) I thought that was fast!
The ZM is in a completely differnt league it's a supercar, the performance figures BMW state 0-60 in 5.3 are way of, try 4.6, MCOUPE even faster.
I haven't had it up to the top end yet 152 was scary enough for me, but id like to hit the limiter!
Mine is Titan silver with black and red leather.
The car is suprisingly good on fuel however the petrol tank is tiny, full tank about £40 quid my 316i is about £55!
The rear tyres (Dunlop SPs) wear very easily however this is probably due to doing powerslides at every roundabout ;)
Servicing isn't too bad (if you use a specialist) but I've only had it a year and with such low mileage no big repairs have been needed.
Keeping the wheels clean is a pain as it gives of so much brake dust.
The leather drivers side bolster is wearing very easily.
Nothing can keep up with this car especially on acceleration I've raced and beaten e36 & e46 M3s an e39 M5, EVOs, an Impreza P1, TVR Chimera, and a Porsche 911 turbo was level, to name a few.
It has to be one of the fastest BMW's ever made, you can't realy exploit its speed on UK roads, I can't wait for the new e60 M5 and e63 M6 to come out to see how fast they are.
This car is very dangerous a is a total licence looser how I've got mine still I don't know, you just can't drive this car normally it has caught me of guard quite a few times as the rear end will step out very easily and going from a 4wd car to a 321bhp rear drive car takes some getting used to ;)
BMW's are good cars, but don't confuse them with BMW M cars as they are an elite breed of cars, you have to drive one to appreciate this.
I love this car and it will probably be one of the best and fastest cars I will ever own, and I'm not going to be selling it anytime soon. RC.
