1999 Holden Commodore VT review from Australia and New Zealand
"Best looking Commodore ever"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far I've had no problems with the car, although rain enters the boot.
Oh and I've had to change a indicator bulb which is nothing.
General comments?
My Commodore has upgraded "highway" sports suspension which has improved handling at all speeds and is obvious travelling next to the same model.
The steering is sweet without being twitchy, minor mods can make enough of a difference without compromising reliability.
Sports mode is ultra responsive and punchy.
A K&N air filter makes a little differance.
Brakes are the best yet.
Works well on the highways and city streets, hard suspension does'nt go to well on bad roads, but that is the compromise that I've made.
Interior is outstanding, but not millinnium yet, heads up display and a CD player should be standard.
Exterior: it's a little bit cult where I live, bulk mods, but mine has just a few visual enhancements to make it look sheek, white paint job dark tint clean wheels.
I think the VT is best looking Commodore yet, get one...
In two years from now P platers are going to be driving loads of them.
Drive On.
