2000 Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin 3dr Vivo Auto review from UK and Ireland
"Should never have been made!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The throttle cable casing gets coked up very easily and needs cleaning regularly or else, like myself, you will find yourself stalling an automatic in the middle of a duel carriageway.
Exhaust pipe fell off at 36000 miles - completely rotted away in some parts despite no other bodily rust and being garaged.
General comments?
This car should never have been made with a 1.8 engine. Heavy car, small engine, automatic = slow petrol guzzler!
London to Liverpool return cost me £120 in petrol going no faster then 70 mph.
Not a motorway car obviously, but this is taking the mick!
Leather, air con, navigation system does not make up for engine capabilities.
Replacing exhaust cost £500 - £340 for parts.
