1993 Holden Commodore Executive review from Australia and New Zealand
"Good power and finish, shudder is enoying though"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
None.
General comments?
I purchased the VR from an old lady who had it serviced by Holden every 10,000 K's.
It's probably the cleanest I've seen in the last half decade and go's so much better then my old VN berlina which had no service history and 230000 k's to boot.
My only beef with this car and it concerns every VR or VP that I've been in or driven, is the driveshaft shudder at lower RPM.
My VN, as shagged as it was, did not have this issue although the transmission had started to develope a shudder in second. This was due to years of abuse.
Anyone who has fixed this issue please leave a comment!
All in all for a 13 year old car you couldn't do much better then one of these in good condition.
