2005 smart forfour Brabus review from UK and Ireland
"0-60 in 6.7 seconds in a Smart Car, beats a Cooper S anyday"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A few minor faults with rattles and Sat Nav - all fixed by the dealer fairly quickly.
General comments?
Possibly the rarest Hot Hatch on the road, I've only seen two others on the road in over 12 months.
The car is a second-hand bargain, 0-60 in 6.7 seconds with a top speed of just under 140mph. The interior has full leather, heated seat, auto wipers and lights, full length glass roof, multi-cd, brilliant sat-nav (same as mercs) and lots of flashy Brabus bits.
The car will return 32mpg in normal driving, but this can drop to 15mpg if you're flooring it. Best I've seen was 42mpg, but that was driving at 40 in snow.
An eight month model cost £12k. My last car was a Mini Cooper, but this handles as well, maybe even a little better. The looks are either love or loathe, but this is the only car I've owned which has been stared at. I've even had people come up to me saying I love your car, but what is it?
