1995 Mitsubishi Verada V6Ei 3.0 V6 SOHC

Summary:

Best thing since sliced bread!

Faults:

Factory fitted CD Player stopped working at 177,000kms. But it was 16 years old!

General Comments:

I absolutely love this car!, I wouldn't even consider buying another brand.

It has decent grunt, while being easy on the fuel.

It has a long list of standard features, such as climate control air conditioning, power steering, power windows all round, power antenna, power locks, power mirrors, factory fitted CD Player with great speakers that still sound good after 16 years, A.B.S brakes, and a driver's air bag.

Maintain the engine well and it'll look after you. Very smooth to drive, ridiculously quiet too inside the cabin. Virtually no road noise at all.

Would make a perfect car for anybody, highly recommended!

1995 Mitsubishi Verada Ei 3.0 V6

Summary:

A high quality Australian made car

Faults:

Distributor died

Engine seals are starting to show wear

Rear shock absorbers are leaking

Alarm system went haywire, so I ripped it out

Front brakes have made a scraping sound, can't rectify the problem

High pitch noise coming from the cruise control, can't rectify problem

Automatic Transmission can be indecisive.

General Comments:

The car is pretty sluggish, having driven a Honda since I've had my license. It corners quite well though, even with worn tyres (which are going to be replaced as soon as I get enough money). However, apart from tyres the only thing it needs is a manual transmission, which would make it much more fun to drive.

What with the blue sad face on the side of the 1995

Ei Varada?.

I have had a 95 Ei Verada for the past 4 years now and nothing has gone wrong with it, it has done just over 200,000 kilometres, and still the same motor running smooth and the pick up is still awesome.
