2010 Toyota Camry

Summary:

Plastic, twitchy, unpleasant

Faults:

Nothing, it was a rental car for 24 hours.

General Comments:

What a terribly made car. I've seen better built quality on corn flakes packets. The switches have a hideous plasticky feel about them... Everything feels like it's just about to fall off.

The performance is surprising. However everything is way too switchy. The accelerator is far too sensitive. I think they are going for performance, however you end up just about hitting the person in front of you at the lights.

The brakes are the same. Too touchy. You just about end up with your hand impregnated into the windscreen with every braking event.

I found this car too plastic, too switchy, seats un-supportive, and in general it's a chore to drive.

Perhaps this was because it was for only 24 hours and you would get used to it afterwards, however I wouldn't want to.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

Great review, even though it was just a rental car.

That is exactly why I don't own one of these, give me an American made, rear wheel drive land yacht anyday over a piece of plastic junk like this.

I will pay a little more in gasoline to enjoy my driving experience, like you said, driving one of these is a chore and very uncomfortable.

Toyotas are not even reliable anymore, which was the only reason to ever buy one, so there is really no point in buying one anymore.
