2009 Daihatsu Terios 1.3 petrol
Summary:
After reading others' reviews, it seems you can't please everyone
Faults:
In 10,000 km, only had to replace the torsion bar rubbers - cost €24.00.
General Comments:
Had been looking around for this vehicle in red, but they are like gold dust here in Greece, so settled for a silver one instead.
One thing I did to improve the petrol consumption was to fit larger wheels and tyres, so it now runs on 215x17" and no 16", and it really does give better consumption with no loss of power.
One little point I found was the air conditioning was not good at first, but I then read the instruction manual and realised I was at fault by not having the settings right; us boys never read instructions manuals do we?
Had the big 72.000 kilometer service, all oils changed etc, and found it less than my two previous Hondas.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Strange, I had the same problem in the front right speaker, which I fixed installing bigger speakers in the back and sending to them the 70% of the signal (you can do this with a good CD player), for me, it appears to be a size problem, the front speakers are too small, and when you have a CD player with 50wxchannel, you can hear the noise.
Other problems I have, the lack of spare parts (I crashed my Terios 2004 and the spare parts took 3 months).
It's a good and strong car, I recommend it to anyone who wants to go off-road with no harm to the nature.
Cheers.
