Faults:

Low ground clearance and scraping. Due to its design and suspension, the vehicle's underbody (especially the engine guard) tends to scrape on speed bumps, potholes, or steep ramps.

The plastic skid plate tends to come loose and scrape against the ground.

Rust in the door channels and water accumulation inside.

The suspension is somewhat soft; while comfortable for city driving, it can exhibit excessive body roll in corners on the highway or at high speeds.

General Comments:

In short, the car stands out for its spacious interior (despite being a small car) an excellent trunk, and indestructible mechanics.

The 1.5-liter engine produces 120 hp and is more than adequate for the car; the transmission is extremely smooth and efficient for city driving. However, on the highway, and with the car fully loaded, its overtaking ability is limited due to the lack of a turbocharger.

Fuel consumption is very low (comparable to any diesel of similar size) which is a plus for the car.

Although it hasn't covered much mileage yet, there have been no engine issues so far.

One of the car's biggest advantages is the vast amount of space in the rear seats and its large trunk capacity. Inside, it feels like a much larger car than it actually is.

This VX version is the top-of-the-line model, featuring leather seats, cruise control, push-button start, and a rearview camera.

It is very comfortable and well-suited for city driving; I love driving it and really enjoy the experience. It has excellent steering and is easy and comfortable to park.

I’ve only had it for three years, but it is clear that its overall durability is excellent; as I mentioned earlier, the engine hasn't suffered any costly mechanical failures over nearly 100,000 kilometers, provided it receives timely maintenance.

However, at high speeds, tire and wind noise seep into the cabin—that is the only negative thing I have to say about the car.

An economical, reliable car that is excellent for daily use; for anyone looking for a simple, modern, and easy-to-maintain vehicle, the City is an outstanding choice.

Faults:

It is a new car. No problem in my current car.

My earlier car Honda City of 2005 had two problems: suspension sound in the front, and electronic power steering needed to be changed at 30,000 kms.

This car has one problem.. It does not allow fitting of a door alarm system to discourage thieves from breaking in. In India we do have thieves.. as you know!! Honda used to allow this earlier; now it has withdrawn this approval, nor is it fixing the security system with Ultrasonic Sensors for cars they sell in India. They say they do it only for City cars sold outside India.

General Comments:

The Honda City is powerful, comfortable and convenient than before. While there is always room for improvement, the car does not disappoint in any aspect.

Faults:

No big problems.

Power steering needed servicing once.

Recently I had to replace the radiator, dunno if it was absolutely necessary.

Had to replace the front brake kits; piston was getting jammed. Very sparingly used. So I feel it causes more harm to your car if you use it so rarely.

Paint is very fragile. Scratches easily.

Road noise can be a bit disturbing, though the suspension is pretty good; you'll feel the road.

It's difficult to get in the driver's seat and out, without pushing the seat back. Should've kept 14 inch wheels. I feel that's the most stupid thing about this car.

General Comments:

It's a damn good car. Never want to sell it. Great pick up. Can drive it around like a sports car, at least in India :)

At the same time, you can drive it even below 30kmph without troubling the engine. First to second shift is a bit bumpy unless you release the clutch really carefully.

Good handling.

Maintenance is very little. I usually service only once in a year. Of course I run only 3k per year.

It's more for driving pleasure rather than passenger comfort. I guess that is applicable to other Hondas as well.

I get 18kmpl with the A/C on highways. I guess it's a bit tough to get on other saloons.
