2006 Acura MDX Touring with Navigation V6

Summary:

Excellent all around car for the family

General Comments:

All around car for a family of four (+ some guests).

Did a wonderful performance on our long drive on the first year, totaling 2500 miles.

Service cost is as expected on a 40K luxury SUV.

Cabin and all around navi and rear entertainment systems are top notch.

I put in 30K miles on it, and so far it's all good.

Kids love the sound system and the 2 channel music system.

Bought previous 3 owned cars brand new; this one is the best purchase.

Like everyone else, hope it runs on 87 though..

These cars had their lot of costly problems. Just the timing belt kits (without the labor) is a mere $600 in parts alone. But there's more with main seal leaks and other problems, not to mention the weak transmissions.

2006 Acura MDX Touring Package 3.5L VTEC V6

Summary:

I have nothing but good things to say about it, everyone should have it!

Faults:

Nothing so far. I have had it for only 2 months.

General Comments:

This is the very best vehicle that I have EVER had. It handles like a dream. It also has a lot of power when you accelerate.

With the recent snow and ice I quickly found out how well the VTM4 4wd system worked. It is very sure footed in the winter weather.

The cabin is also very luxurious. There are many nice features such as XM Radio, in dash 6 CD changer, both front seats are heated and power adjustable, all leather, very nice navigation system, chrome accents, and much more. I also noticed how quiet and smooth the ride in the cabin of my new MDX is.

It can also tow a good amount. I have a 20 foot sailboat and this vehicle tows it with ease.

In all, this is a wonderful car. I love it so much. At $43,000 it was a very big investment, but I am so glad I decided to get it!

Thanks for the nice review. I am not trying to nit pick, but I just have to interject that a car is a "purchase", not an "investment". I am not saying this applies to you, but banks like people to think everything is an "investment". This way, people will rationalize taking a loan out on every little thing, and spend their whole lives paying the the banks interest. The reason why everything is so abhorrently overpriced now, is because people do not care about the purchase price of anything anymore. They just finance everything and relinquish ownership of themselves to the bank for the rest of their lives. It is a horrific societal problem. Nobody wants to live within their means anymore.
