1995 Eagle Talon TSI FWD 2.0 turbo

Summary:

High Performance. Totally Fast

Faults:

Nothing wrong with My Talon. I'm just looking to see if anyone Is interested in Buying a FWD TSI TURBO Talon. I'm asking $6,000 for it and I have well over $10,000 in performance parts with top of the line products. If needed more information please e-mail paulwarren19@yahoo.com.

General Comments:

Est. Horse is 350 but over 300 for sure. It's a 5 speed manual with all gauges and auto meters. I have pretty much everything for this talon.

1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD 2.0 turbo

Summary:

Mini 3000GT!

Faults:

The harmonic balancer came apart, threw the timing belt, and bent 8 valves along with 4 rockers.

Spun an O-ring on the oil cooler when I was changing the oil, and it ended up pumping all the oil out onto the freeway. Block toast at 117k miles.

General Comments:

Aside from those things, it was a great car! It had tight performance, handled nice (all wheel drive!), and wasn't too bad comfort wise.

I believe the harmonic balancer wouldn't have gone out if it was replaced at the scheduled tune up time, but the guy before me never did it. The oil ring was PROBABLY my fault, so I can't really blame the car for that.

If that hadn't have happened, I'd still have it.

The rear seats are decorative only ;) Trying to get anyone over 4ft tall back there is going to hurt them as leg room is non-existent. However, FRONT seat room is very spacious!

Everything about the car was pretty nice, and in fact, I bought a civic right after that, and bought an Eclipse GSX (same year/color/specs as the Talon) as a second car. If properly maintained, you'll be VERY happy. If not, expect a big bill.

1995 Eagle Talon ESi

Summary:

Good low-cost sports car and dorm mover

Faults:

Coil Pack and Wires went out at 65,000 (noted in the manual for maintenance at 60,000)

Frequently needs fuel injector cleaner, about 3 times a year, to avoid starting sluggishly.

The back seat is way too small for anyone over 5 feet tall. My passengers frequently hit their heads on the back window if I go over bumps.

General Comments:

I have had nothing but good experiences with this car. I'll admit, I've done a lot of maintenance on the car in 40,000 miles, but it was all preventative maintenance and well worth it.

The handling is very tight, very sporty.

Remarkably good at hauling stuff, I will definitely buy another hatchback. The rear seat folds down, and the hatch cover is removable. I've moved an armchair in this car, as well as a bench on a different occasion, both with the trunk closed. And a kitchen cart... And a Bookcase...

A good looking car, very curvy.

Even though it's not a turbo, it has good acceleration.

I agree with you in what you said. I have one of these cars and I just love it.

Yes, I agree as well. I've recently become a very proud owner of a 1995 Eagle Talon Esi, and I think that it is a very sporty reliable car if you give it the appropriate maintenance. I am very happy with it, and would recommend this car to anybody who wants a good looking sport car. It has very good acceleration as well.

I have recently bought a 1996 eagle Talon and I had wondered If I could add a turbo onto the car at all, I know that its possible, but I wondered if it would be worth the extra 60 horsepower for about 1200 dollars? I really love the car but just want more power.
