Faults:

New front brake pads once a year.

Parking lights come on when I use the brakes, so do the dash lights.

Front passenger safety belt doesn't always lock into place.

Re-manufactured alternator at 175000 miles.

New tie rods, CV joints, and another re-manufactured alternator at 190,000miles.

Occasionally grinds going into 3rd gear with clutch all the way down.

Replaced all radiator/heater hoses at 195,000 miles.

General Comments:

I bought this car May 2004. They wanted $1,800 for her. I saw her & fell in love. She was in great shape, and it was evident that she was well maintained. I talked them down to $1,200 cash, and in the past (almost) 2 years I feel I got every dollars worth out of her.

I've, since purchase, put 30,000-40,000 miles on her. Drove her from Nebraska to Florida and back without incident. Drove her back and forth through NE, IA, and MO. We've gone driving and camping all over these 3 states together, and I can always count on her. I was also surprised at how comfortable the back seat was when I forgot my tent!

My Honda is fun to drive! I like the way she handles. She's got enough power to get the job done, and I love shifting those gears!

Overall, she's a great car! She's going to hit 200,000 miles by the end of the month, and I'm expecting to drive her at least 100,00 more!!

Faults:

I drove the car for almost a year before anything started going wrong.

I had to replace the radiator.

The air conditioning needs recharging.

New power steering hose.

Front left half shaft replaced.

Fuel pump is starting to go on me now.

General Comments:

Overall I love the car!!

A cup holder would have been very nice, but for $1500 bucks, I can't complain.

It has guts and I like that.

Faults:

Multipe oil leaks, oil filter gasket, oil pump seal, cam seal and oil pan gasket.

Replaced Starter.

Washer Pump

Rear door automatic lock is bad.

Leaky Sun Roof.

General Comments:

Car is 16 years old and things do wear out. As of now it is solid and gets 31-34 mpg. The interior has worn very well for this car. Like any thing if you don't take care of it you will have trouble with it. I belive the persons that have owned this car did not take care of it. I have never owned a vehicle that has this many miles on it. I feel like it would do another 194,000 miles.

Faults:

I have the car since April 2005... So nothing went wrong with it. I hope it continue like this.

General Comments:

I bought it at 91 000 km... For a 1989 it`s excellent!

Also the frame it's perfect. No scratch. Drive well.

Faults:

When I got the car it needed a carburetor. I bought a used one for $16.00! Transmission has a leak, but I just keep fluid in the thing and its fine. I had to replace the fuel filters because I was only getting 15MPg. I think I fixed that part. Other than that nothing has gone wrong. I have to do a timing belt here in the next few weeks.

General Comments:

Very reliable car. As someone who used to buy Nissan's, I think I am converted to Honda's for now on. Fun car to drive with the 5 Speed. Lacks power when climbing hills, but other than that its fine. Handling it like nothing I have ever driven. I love the steering. I'm not going to complain because I bought it for $500 and you can't go wrong. Runs like a dream.
