I hate the car. It is slow, unreliable.
It is ugly. I got it for $2000 to use as a runabout. I added a huge muffler. in hopes it would make the sewing machine sound like a real motor. But it didn't work out now my car sounds like a 2 stroke dirtbike.

Inexpensive, reliable, and fun!
The exhaust resonator pipe rotted out and caused the exhaust to rattle and make excessive noise.
The vinyl driver's side seat has worn badly.
The engine takes a little bit longer to start in the cold.
The 5-speed can be hard to shift into reverse when cold.
Well, this being the first car I have ever owned, I am deeply impressed with it.
The engine is rather weak at 70 horsepower and 91 pounds of torque, but with the car being only 2,054 pounds, it has very nice performance.
The interior is very nice. The controls are mounted in the right places, and are easy to use, however, the interior is plainly styled.
If I could change some things about this car, I would have included a tachometer as standard equipment. When you have a manual transmission, a tachometer is a must.

I have owned a 1992 Civic DX Sedan and it weighing so much more than the CX model it only had 7 more torque, so I'm looking forward to seeing the performance of this car as I believe it will be rather impressing. As for the lack of a tachometer you eventually learn where to shift even if racing. The maximum torque of the CX is at only 2000 RPM whereas the horsepower extends to 5000 RPM, but as any other dragster knows you shift at torque. All in all I am deeply looking forward to purchasing this car in the near future, but by far not leaving it stock. Look for it at Nopi!!

At 90000 miles a faulty oxygen sensor caused a slight delay in acceleration.
This car is amazingly versatile! The hatchback can haul more than you might imagine.
I get 45-60 miles per gallon, and it accelerates very strongly. There is no other car that mixes this much power with fuel efficiency.
I wish Honda would revive this car and power train!

I also have a 92 Civic VX 3 door. I bought it with 43,000 miles and have owned it for 9 years. At the time, it was all I could afford. It now has 134,000 miles and it runs just as great as the day I bought it. It is a really basic car, but its versatile hatch has hauled more than its share of cargo. I have had several friends request my car to help haul cargo when they are moving. The gas mileage is phenomenal. I probably average about 40 mpg in mixed driving. I love the fast acceleration and the 5 speed transmission. At 120,00 miles, I did have to put a thousand dollars into replacing the ball joints and coil springs, but it drives like a new car now, so I consider it money well spent. I only hope the body will hold out. It has spent a lot of time parked on the street through some tough Wisconsin winters. Honda should have never done away with this fantastic model.

You sound more like a domestic 1320 guy than an import guy. Do yourself a favor and sell it. If you don't like high pitched engines then you'll never be satisfied with an import. Me, on the other hand, I'd rather not be hassled by guys in silly uniforms, so I'd rather be silent.
