2005 Nissan X-Trail SE 2.5

Summary:

Excellent

Faults:

None.

General Comments:

This car is like full size SUV. It has lot of space. very comfortable ride, and quiet too. Except the fuel economy - I'm getting right now 12L/100km. which is little more than manufacturer forecast. It is a wonderful SUV in its class.

I think no other car comes close to beating the X-Trail on performance, comfort, style and value for money. It's the only SUV that can stand heads over shoulders above all the rest in it's class. I hope to replace my problematic CR-V with an X-TRAIL in near future. GREAT CHOICE!

Great to hear another happy Xtrailer. I've had mine since December 2002, (Australian spec model) with close to 60,000km without any problems. I wish they came with either a 3.0 or 3.5lt engine.

I have just borrowed a 2.2 Turbo Diesel and I must say that I was extremely impressed with all 136 horses.

It even handeled the off road section that I took it through very well. Extremely impressed.

Purchased mine in Feb 07, and not one problem to date. Hope this helps any prospective buyers.

2004 Nissan X-Trail SE AWD 2.5 gasoline

Summary:

Excellent!

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

My wife wanted a small SUV with great fuel economy and in Canada, that comes down to a Honda CRV, Toyota RAV-4 or the Nissan X-Trail. The Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute have a less powerful 2.3 litre 4 cylinder and all the rest of the competitors have V-6's.

The X-Trail is more powerful than the CRV or RAV-4 and gets the same or better economy. It has a much bigger sunroof, a better AWD system and has more standard features for the money.

Since delivery two months ago, the car has been great and even surpassed our high expectations. Great comfort, fun to drive and good economy. Our 10 year old daughter loves all of the back seat features and the great visibility - she won't drive in my Jetta TDI anymore.
