1994 Pontiac Sunbird LE 2.0L

Summary:

The Best Car I Ever Bought

Faults:

I have had to change the heater core and the water pump, timing belt and the thermostat and filler next for antifreeze gasket.

General Comments:

This car is the best car I have ever own it always starts and runs great I only paid $550.00 for it and it only cost me $270.00 to certify it. It runs like new the body is in good shape a bit of surface rust. I love this car.

1994 Pontiac Sunbird LE 2.1

Summary:

A fun little car.

Faults:

About 6 months after I got it the blinker arm broke. Then a few weeks later the alternator went, and a few days after that 2 rims cracked! Good ol' winter.

1994 Pontiac Sunbird

Summary:

I really love my '94 Sunbird

Faults:

In the four years I have owned this car it has required minimal repair work. I took it into my mechanic today for a new radiator and heater core, and 19 months ago I had to replace both front wheel bearings. Beyond that the repairs have been normal brake and exhaust system replacements. The body of the car is just starting to show signs of rust, which for 10 years of Upstate New York winters is pretty darn good. It is a great car on snow, in fact, I refer to it as my "SnowBeast". (Much of this depends on what tires you buy though.) I still get excellent gas mileage... averaging 29 mpg. I chose to buy a Sunbird because so many of my friends had them and loved them. I can certainly see why. I plan to keep this car until it won't run anymore.

General Comments:

I wish Pontiac still made this model. When the time comes to replace my Sunbird, I will be heartbroken to have to say goodbye to it. I definitely plan to stay with Pontiac for any cars in my future.

1994 Pontiac Sunbird LE 4.0

Summary:

Very dependable and perfect car

General Comments:

I have owned my car for the past 10 years and it is the best car I have ever owned.

I do speak from experiences since this is my 10th car.

You can always depend on this car even in the coldest days.

I am very happy owning this car, and even the body of the car does not rust (as long as you under coat it every 2 years)

1994 Pontiac Sunbird LE 2 litre

Summary:

Excellent first car

Faults:

In the 8 months I have had it, I have replaced a broken radiator hose.

I had the brakes adjusted at the safety, and after almost 20 thousand I replaced the front pads and rotors.

Also, when I first got the car, I had to do some body work in order for it to pass safety, in the usual spots along the bottom of the doors, all it took was a $20 door skin.

General Comments:

I really love this car. I can't believe what my little 2 litre with a 5 speed can do sometimes, I've beat almost every other car I've raced, including a mustang. Friends don't beleive the burnouts it can do when you drop the clutch.

The only thing is, is the ABS bothers me a bit, but it is still good, and also, the dash seems to separate right above the radio, but that is common, and nothing some crazy glue can't fix.

1994 Pontiac Sunbird LE 2.0

Summary:

I would not recommend this car if you intend on keeping it for a while, mine is a lemon!

Faults:

My head gasket blew at 92,740 miles.

My battery went at 92,740 miles.

My starter went at 96,000 miles.

My TRANSMISSION is going now, and is only expected to last a month.

General Comments:

The car is quick, but for being a starter car I am very angry to find out that my transmission is going, and that I have a month to get rid of it. The suspension is going, along with the brakes, shocks, and the head gasket for the second time in 7,000 miles.

Well if it makes you feel any better I have a 92 sunbird and am having the same problems I love this car I don't wanna get rid of it, but at 214kms the head gasket blown, tires are going, engine needs to be replaced as does the radiator, I'm having a rough time deciding.
