1995 Toyota Camry LE 2.2 four

Summary:

I absolutely love it along with my 2 other Toyota's

Faults:

Main seals leak, changing them this weekend.

Rear stabilizer-bar loose where it connects to the frame, wore rubber mounts.

Not much really.

General Comments:

I bought the car last month and got a great deal however the car was neglected and some things are in need of TLC.

The oil was never changed on time.

The tranny fluid was a mud colour.

The body had been painted due to damage.

The interior was a mess and it smelled like smoke.

And it was leaking oil on the ground from the bad seals.

Keep in mind these where all bargaining points for me. The car runs beautiful dispite the abuse it took so I believe I got a good deal.

It is now 6 months and 10000 miles since I bought this car. I changed the motor seals, new timing belt, transmission oil and filter changed, cleaned the interior and aside from a few little broken interior parts and a bad paint job (not original) this car drives like no other! I have owned many many cars and this one by far is the most comfortable and best at handling, even though this car was neglected and abused it drives and runs fantastic. I will buy another one in a flash. Tim.

1995 Toyota Camry LE 2.2

Summary:

A

Faults:

This has been a wonderful Toyota Camry. I must say in 8 years, all I have replaced is a tail light bulb (beside general maintenance). It is a pleasure to drive, starts in all weather, and looks great. I have used exclusively, Am-soil each time I change (3000 miles). My new second car is also a Toyota Van.

1995 Toyota Camry LE 3.0 V6

Summary:

Great dependability, performance, and price

Faults:

The Power Steering Pump went out shortly after the 100,000 mile mark. The part was $400, quite expensive for a rebuilt part.

The Rack & Pinion recently started leaking. It was replaced for only $300.

The only other problem was the power antenna stopped working shortly after 100,000 miles.

General Comments:

The car has been a great vehicle, so great that this is my second Camry, the last had 250,000 miles on it when I sold it.

The car, while some consider it a family vehicle, is very fast. I have raced it a couple of times and have actually gone 130 MPH in the vehicle.

1995 Toyota Camry LE 2.2L in-line 4 cyl.

Faults:

Suspension squeeked. Steering linkages started knocking at 70K km, easily fixed. Nothing else really ever went wrong with this car the whole time I owned it! Cost of ownership is high as the cost of Toyota recommended maintenance at the dealership is ludicrously high. Do it yourself if you can.

General Comments:

Exceptional auto overall. I highly recommend it. For a family sedan, ride, comfort & handling were second to none!

The car was almost perfect in every way. But I like cars with character and power - this car lacked both, the engine adequate, but somewhat lacklustre.

Boy was this car ever reliable! Never, ever a complaint on that front.

1995 Camry XLE V6, 135,000 miles. Most reliable car I ever owned. 28 mpg highway at 70 mph. Change the oil every 3,000 miles.

Great pickup and ride. No replacement parts on the suspension or shocks needed so far.

Transmission is as smooth as ever.

Paint and hardware are holding up great. People can't believe it has 135,000 miles.

Purchased new. Would I purchase another one? Yes, but I don't need to now.
