1995 Toyota Corolla DX 1.8

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with this car. We have maintained the vehicle with regular maintenance, replacing the normal belts, filters and spark plugs when necessary.

The interior, cloth seats and carpet, has been subjected to a young child for six years and even pets during long distance travel and is still in excellent condition.

The only thing I would change about this vehicle is the comfort of the seats, as they are not meant for long distance travel.

General Comments:

This car handles well on turns and curves.

I do not like that the seats become uncomfortable after a short time in the car.

I love the low level of maintenance required.

This is the best car I have ever owned.

1995 Toyota Corolla

Summary:

One of the best cars you can buy!

Faults:

My husband had this car for 4 years before we got married and he had to replace the alternator once. Other than that absolutely nothing!

General Comments:

This car is very reliable.

We put over 220,000 miles on it and it still would have gone a lot more if I hadn't hit a deer! Me and my son walked away without a scratch and I didn't even jolt!

Very safe for a small car!

The rear seat is small when you have a car seat and no one else can fit unless they are real small, but that's OK, still a great car!

We are definitely fans of Toyota now!

1995 Toyota Corolla 1.6

Summary:

I got a lemon this time

Faults:

Radiator after radiator, I don't know why but the car just goes through them constantly.

Axles keep wearing out.

Transmission acts crazy in cold weather.

A/C is weak and kills the engine.

General Comments:

I had a 86 Corolla that got extreme high mileage on it with no problems, but I must have gotten the one bad Corolla because this one is a heap of trash, I can't wait to trade this sucker off.

Don't blame the car. It was mistreated at some point in its life. You should get reliable mechanics to work on your car! Don't be stingy when it comes to maintenance and your Corolla will serve you well.

It appears that the reviewer purchased the car new.

There are "lemons" out there. Very rare with a Corolla, but apparently possible.

If you were to keep the car; try changing the antifreeze and then have the tranny fluid changed, that might help if you keep the car, or for the next person to own it.
