General Comments:
I truly like Volkswagen, but they have made it impossible for me to buy another one. The dealerships service department couldn't be more arrogant and indifferent to the problems I have had with this car. I contrast this with our other car, an Acura TL, the dealer there treats me like a king when I go there. I don't understand how VW can survive with the lack of customer care they seem to have.
When the Jetta is running well it's a pleasure to drive, the power is adequate and it handles well. The interior is holding up very well, and there is a slight buzzing somewhere in the instrument cluster - very annoying.

I agree oil from everywhere. I keep blowing ignition coils, door locks keep on seizing, window up down problems, car bogs intermittently like it's going to stall, rusting all over yet well taken care of, cannot get dash lights to work even with many new bulbs, the engine is rattling loudly with acceleration, I think the engine is on it's way out. Plus the car was expensive last year at $5500.00. Never another VW.
