2000 Acura TL 3.2 from North America

Summary:

Great Car!!

Faults:

The only thing that constantly bothers me is the climate control. It has been in the shop 4 times and every time the "fix" it, it works for a month than stops working properly again. It cannot control the temperature. You have to manually adjust the fan speed and temperature to get what you want. The other thing that went wrong was the throttle body. Something went wrong and the RPM's would skyrocket then drop, and this would repeat. shutting it down and restarting would not help. The car had to be towed and fixed. Otherwise, the original Michelin tires were horrible. I just replaced them with Dunlop Sport A2's and these are the best tires that I had so far. I took a 25mph turn at 60mph in wet weather and the car did not skid at all!! If you want true performance out of a sport luxury, get the Dunlop Sport A2's.

General Comments:

Love the car. Great Acceleration and fast. My max was 135mph in a 1/4 starting it at 55mph (this was with use of the sport shift).

2000 Acura TL 3.2 VTEC from North America

Summary:

Amazing car with a reasonable price!

Faults:

Nothing so far.

General Comments:

In my opinion, this is the best car for the money.

This car has never had any problems, and from what I have seen, everything works perfectly.

The Acura dealer is by far the best dealer I have ever dealt with. Whenever I take the car in to have its oil changed, or serviced, they always have a rental car ready when I get there, and they are always reliable.

This car is quick! I have never lost a race off the line! I know the type-s model has more power, but I am happy with the 225 horse-power I have right now.

The car has a sporty, especially the body kit, and there are plenty of after market parts you can install. As well, the interior looks great, and I have not had one person get into my car without saying "Nice car!"
