I'm sorry, I don't believe the author of this review. The Camaro is one of the highest quality controlled cars that GM builds.

There is a great deal of Ford vs. Chevrolet holy war going on. I would mostly attribute this review to that. Having extensive experience owning Chevrolets, and working at Chevy dealers, I have never experienced a Camaro with any major problems.

This guy does not know what he is talking about. Yes Mustangs are fast, the Cobra is very fast, or 351 supercharged it kind of maybe kind of a deal. I like both cars, but I still like Camaros better.

Yeah that sure was a pretty nice lie. Must be a ford fan trying to pull something. Oh well, The Camaros way better, faster, looks nicer, and to me has a better ride, more comfortable even for me and I'm 6,4.

This guy is so full of it. First of all, if you look at any performance numbers, the Camaro is way faster. And if you have ever driven both, you would know that the Camaro even feels faster. That is what is known as torque. Plus you can't just return a car. Unless maybe he is on his knees and bought it from Wal Mart.

Also, as far as space inside of each, the Camaro has a lot more room for the driver and passenger. If you need more than that, you are looking at the wrong class of car.

Mustang Gt faster than a Camaro Z28? WOW! I own a 2002 mustang gt 5 speed and a 2000 Camaro z28 automatic. Neither car has any modifications done to them and I can honestly say the gt comes no where near the z28 in power and speed, but thanks for the story. It was funny!!

I have no doubts that the guy, who wrote this review, is just another Goddamn, Mustang driver with jealous of the Camaro Z28 of it's neighbor!

Here are the facts. Ford has 10 times the racing pedigree that Chevy only dreams of. I'm speaking internationally. Hands down the Mustang is a better car. Camaro is stopping production. Case closed.

Camaro's will be back, trust me!! Its sad that Mustang had to make a "supercharged" engine just so it could keep up with a Camaro. Just imagine if chevy were to ever, ever, ever make a supercharged LS1. Watch out ford world... 2000 Chevy Camaro LS-1.

Listen, I'm driving a '00 Z28, and I've probably blown 3 or 4 Mustangs right off the line. I've got an automatic and I'm beating Mustang's with manuals. That's just sad. I've even beaten a Ram-Air Fire bird and I know they can destroy Mustangs as well. All I see now is more girls driving Mustangs than dudes. Mustang lovers really need to be more open-minded!

I own a 2000 z-28 6 speed with 17,646 miles it is a beautiful car inside and out can't complain about anything. the mustangs are of absolutely no comparison... CHEVY ROCKS!!!

Racing pedigree is not attained just because you buy out or outsell other brands. Look to the late 60's and early 70's, Ford with the exception of the Shelby gt500 (yet another example of Ford bringing in mainly aftermarket designers to make their cars compete) never competed with Chevrolet OR Dodge. Hey lets downplay performance so more girls will buy cars, oh yes, real impressive.

I have a 2000 Camaro SS, automatic. With just an intake on M/T E.T. Streets I ran a 13.4 in the 1/4 mile my first time ever at the track. Unless we're talking about the 03-04 Cobras, a Mustang WILL NOT BEAT THAT, especially an automatic. I hear the Mach 1s are really close though. I have total respect for Fords, but the LS1 is faster in acceleration, plain and simple.

The Camaro isn't the highest quality, I know, and I don't mind. I wanted fast for cheap, and that means not wasting $ on a fancy interior. If the car had great build quality I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway.

Also, to a previous poster, the LS1 is technically a 346 C.I. engine, not a 350 despite popular belief.

Now I'm not going to put the guy down for favoring Mustangs over Camaros. I've owned 5 Mustangs and I just bought a 2000 Camaro SS today so I can't accurately judge it. However, I did notice that when you hammered the Camaro it was much more responsive then the Mustang and it had so much more leg room and head room. With a 6 foot frame, I enjoy having my space.

"Look to the late 60's and early 70's"

Ford at that time was concentrating on the race track, not the street.

This whole review from the beginning is B.S. It's obvious this is some kid trying to pull something. My opinion on the matter, is that I've owned 5 mustangs in my life and one camaro. I know many who have owned camaros and they've had nothing, but problems with them. Mustangs are no better in my opinion when it comes to reliability. Fact is, Camaro is faster in every form, but the Mustang has been able to out handle it. I can't believe this little "War" between the cars still exist.
