How can you have a 98 caprice when Chevy stopped making them in 96???

The current Caprice that is for sale overseas is actually made by Holden Motors of Australia - it's based on their Commodore. Holden is a GM sub, so the car is basically Chevrolet under the Holden body. It's still RWD, V8-powered.

The North American Caprice was built at the Arlington TX assembly plant and production stopped in 1996 for the Chevy Tahoe.
