1999 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.3 gas from North America

This vehicle is a nightmare!

Transmission line leak at 69000 miles.

Both front wheel bearings out at 77000 miles.

Intake manifold leak at 101000 miles.

Engine missing since 111000 miles after replacing all sensors.

Broken distributor at 122000 miles.

Rear brake line blew at 126000 miles.

This is just to name a few of the things going wrong with this vehicle.

General Comments:

This Blazer was OK until things started to wear out. The engineering is horrendous! Extremely hard to work on without spending a fortune on parts.

Very excellent car

Wheel bearings went out just before the extended warranty (wheewww). The part alone usually cost $300.

As the car is getting up there in years, the check engine light keeps coming on telling me the injector bank 1 is running lean. I'm afraid to fix it, because of previous problems with a 95 Blazer that cost me well over $4000 in repairs in a 6 month period.

Currently the rear seal is leaking, and the transmission is leaking.

General Comments:

Overall this car is awesome. I haven't had a lot of costly repairs, brakes last a long time, tires last a long time, and I have yet to replace any light bulbs on the car.
