2000 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.3 V6 Vortec from North America

Summary:

Great truck, but lots of problems

Faults:

About 3 months after I bought my truck the signal relay switch went out, now it makes a clicking noise that drive you nuts. Brought it in and the mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the switch, and it still clicks. At 58,000 I had to replace the alternator which was was $250. When it's cold the whole truck creaks and sounds like it's about to fall apart. Also noticed a clunking noise coming from the left front tire area. Plus now I have to go and get my passenger mirror fixed because it's very loose.

General Comments:

Besides the problems, it's a very good truck and I like it, the winter sucks because of rear wheel drive you swerve every where, even the 4-wheel drive doesn't help out much. Only nice thing about it is the heated leather seats.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

What year? Didn't they come out in 2002?

For 2000 and 2001, the standard s-10 blazer had a trailblazer option. The actual trailblazer came out in 2002 along with the new envoy and bravada.

Yea, until 2002, the Trailblazer was a luxury addition of the Blazer.
