2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS 4.2 from North America

Summary:

Great truck

Faults:

Fuel gauge went nuts (fuel pump and sender replaced under warranty)

Center console lid broke.

General Comments:

This truck has not required much maintenance for the last 68k, other than the normal oil changes, air cleaner, and tires at 65k.

The brakes still have half the life left.

The truck rides great on highways (other than a bit of wind noise), and runs great off-road in deep mud.

2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS 6.0L LS2 from North America

Summary:

I love it, but wish the mileage would be better

Faults:

The differential made a whining noise, but was fixed under warranty.

The mass airflow, headlight switch, and some weather stripping have all been replaced under warranty.

General Comments:

Gets bad gas mileage, in the city I get between 13 and 15 mpg. On the highway 17-18 mpg.

The power in this SUV is awesome, surprises a lot of people at the track.

If you need nearly the same interior volume, want nearly twice the gas mileage, love even better ETs with night and day better handling included, go for the HHR SS. I know. I was once in your shoes. Now I surprise every Trailblazer SS I come up against and teach them the hard rule of horsepower to weight ratio. You'll spend even less making it really fast, too!

2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS 4.2 from North America

Summary:

Great vehicle, but some common sense needed for consideration in the design of the visors and storag

Faults:

Shield around gas tank pulled away during rainstorm driving thru water.

General Comments:

Great engine and pickup!

AC emits foul chemical odor when AC has been on for 20-30 minutes.

Visors fail to perform when sun comes in sides of car.

Practically zero storage space in front area.

Last 3 cars I have had wind noise was non-existent. This vehicle wind noise on drivers side is excessive.

The visors extend simply by pulling them out more.

The LT models have more sound deadening than the LS models. My LT is the quietest vehicle I have had since my BMW 733i. What were your previous vehicles? Sure, many cars would be better on the highway. And many would be worse.

2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Super Sport 6.0 ltr from North America

Summary:

Love it a lot

Faults:

Really nothing guy turned Daddy.

General Comments:

This truck is fast as heck, so much fun to drive, I traded in my GTO because we are starting a family and the GTO didn't fit a baby seat well. This is the perfect compromise for the car guy turned Daddy. Traction control works very good. This truck handles awesome for a big truck. We even got 19 mpg on pur trip from NY to Virginia. I'm very happy and so is my wife. Great gtruck almost 400 hp for a fair price. GM is finally getting its act together.
