1993 Chrysler Concorde review from North America
"A bargain buy for the price I paid"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought the car for $500 and had to repair a broken strut. I had the ball joints replaced. A few recalls had not yet been done (seat) (fuel rail) which I had done. I replaced the cat. converter as it was hollow inside. The ABS and traction control system went out about 3000 miles after I got it, which I never cared for the ABS or traction control anyway (car has done fine without it).I had to replace the AC compressor, but still need to have the evaporator replaced as it is leaking freon. the front door power locks do not work, but back works fine??
General comments?
The car rides decent. Using premium gas is a must as the motor runs poorly on cheap gas, mid grade is required. The brakes do not work as good as most vehicles I have driven in the past. the paint is in good shape as the interior is in decent shape except for the head liner starting to fall near the back window.
