2000 Chrysler LHS review from North America

The front wheel bearing went bad at 40,000 miles.

The rack and pinion went bad at 50,000 and needed to be replaced. This was very expensive.

The front stabilizer links went bad. The made a lot of clunking sounds and needed to be replaced.

The door gaskets shrunk and needed to be replaced two times.

The anti lock brake system light ABS came on and required some terminals to be cleaned.

The transmission leaked within the first month of owning it.

The cruise control actuator motor went bad and was replaced.

The tires continue to loose air (even new ones) due to corrosion of the aluminum rims (I a m told).

All four hub caps have corroded and fallen off.

I bought the car with the intention of keeping it for its entire life. I did not realize how short that may be. I am very nervous owning this car because it has cost me so much to maintain.

I take very good care of my three cars so I cannot understand why there have been so many problems.

You get a lot of features for a relatively low price, but in the end you pay for it very quickly with the poor quality.

The car is very spacious and for that I love it. It is comfortable for long road trips.

The suspension is very bumpy making it hard to drink a beverage while driving.

The air conditioning compressor is very noisy, especially in the cold.

The sunroof makes too much noise when it is open. I think the little air deflector is not positioned correctly.
