1995 Chrysler Sebring Coupe LXi 2.5 V6 from North America

Summary:

It is a must drive to believe

Faults:

I have had to replace the transmission twice, and when I first got it I had to replace the timing belt. When the transmission went the first time, it took out a lot of the engine with it. The second time, I believe they just installed it wrong, therefore they replaced it for free since it was still under warranty.

Also, the driver side seat has started to wear.

General Comments:

When I first got the car, I was expecting it to be a little slow and sluggish. I was wrong. the V6 had good pick-up, and I learned that it is a decent car.

The car handles turns like they were nothing. Compared to my friend's car, my car is incredible on turns.

1995 Chrysler Sebring Coupe LX 2.0 from North America

Summary:

Awesome looking, mechanically it could use some work!

Faults:

I have replaced pretty much my entire chassis (ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings).

All of the little compartment tops on the middle console have broken (lid to ash tray and "cup holder").

Has periodic attempts to stall, problem unknown by all mechanics I've taken to, they say it could be 100+ things, never actually stalls, only does it when the car is heated up. Its not doing it right now, but I'm sure it will start back up within a month or so.

General Comments:

I love the look and style, my paint job (two tone silver/white) is AMAZING and has held up nicely over the years.

Car handles nicely, especially when nothing is wrong with it!

Parts are kind of hard to find, when you found they can be quite pricey.

All in all I do love my car, it has its problems from time to time, but that's expected with an 11 year old car with over 100k on it right?

1995 Chrysler Sebring Coupe LXI 2.5 from North America

Summary:

A fast woman finder

Faults:

I had to put a transmission in because, the pin backed out of the rear end. I was driving down the road and the transmission quit, then I had second gear. Ever since then I only have second gear.

General Comments:

It did drive like a dream.

"fast woman finder"? You must mean woman tow truck drivers, eh? Not too many of them around.

Summary:

A high speed luxury vehicle

Faults:

Trans-mission has screwed up a little.

Right Mirror won't go up by electronic's. Ceiling is sorta falling down along with my face mirror.

General Comments:

Very great car, I love it! None of my problems have been serious and I've never needed to replace anything. This car is very fast and it has seats resembling racing seats. My leather is holding up good in my car. Batteries never just stopped, absolutely no problems! I go on long trips all the time and my car has never let me down. Very great car for a person who wants to be sporty and very comfortable.

You must have a very special Sebring if it has 250hp. They are rated at 155, and usually a supercharger doesn't add 95hp.

Not a bad review, just way off on the power rating.

A stock Sebring may have 115h.p., but the person who submitted the comment said that he/she had installed a turbo charger, which could give him the 250 h.p.

Well a very few Chrysler Sebrings were manufactured with turbos, BUT they were in the years 99-00, so it's for sure gotta be aftermarket. 1999-2000 Chrysler Sebrings are really rare with a turbo.
