1973 Dodge Coronet Custom 318 V8 from North America

Summary:

There is no better car to own

Faults:

Speedometer cable needs to be lubricated.

General Comments:

After all these years, it looks as good as it runs, with little maintenance. It's quick, sporty, sounds amazing, comfortable, well-equipped, and achingly attractive.

These cars do seem to get cooler with age. You don't see them anymore, and it's fun to see them on old shows on TVLand. Kind of sad to think of how many were trashed on Dukes of Hazzard, Dirty Harry, and The Blues Brothers.

Yeah these cars are cool. I just got one, my first car, and it's fun to drive. I'm the only in my country Belize with one, and it makes it better.

Amazed at there being only one review of the Coronet on here - the sedan version is basically every cop car in every 1970s car chase movie you see! Must have been a common car.

It was a common car -- in 4-door sedan form, most commonly driven by cops, cabbies, and old coots, none of whom is now likely to post fond reviews of it here, if they even remember it at all... outside of its TV/movie appearances, it was not a very memorable car, thus only the single review.
