1999 Dodge Stratus review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Tie rod was going bad since I got the car. It was replaced for about 170 which included an alignment too.
Front brakes and rotors were replaced, 75 bucks tax included. Did it myself.
General comments?
I bought the car for about 35000 dollars from a wholesale dealer. It had 78000 miles on it. According to KBB if I sell it today I'll make 100 dollars o what I paid for it a year and 30k miles ago.
This car has been extremely reliable. It has endured long distance round trips originating from Detroit to Columbus IN, Miami FL, Boston MA. It was also able to bring me one way from Detroit to San Francisco.
Great on corners, great pickup, roomy and comfy.
Still running. No problems at all.
The only thing... gas flows really easy into the engine, which, with these California gas prices isn't the best thing ever.
