Air Conditioner no longer works.
The drivers side back seat lock doesn't work.

The car chugs very badly.

This isn't a very good car. Whenever you drive it you have to drive with both hands on the wheel or else you will be all over the road.
The interior is roomy and quite luxurious.
Horrible to drive on hot days. The air conditioner never gets cool!
Your comment about the engine chugging and a high pitched whistle coming from the exhaust pipe sounds like a restriction in the exhaust pipes/converter/muffler. I had that problem years ago with a car and we found the exhaust pipe before the muffler was made in two layers (inner and outer), and the inner layer had collapsed. This was restricting the exhaust flow, choking back the engine performance and preventing the car from achieving highway speeds. When we removed the muffler and ran the engine, it sounded as if it still had a muffler on it and gave a high pitched whistle from the exhaust when the rpm was increased. After replacing the bad section, it ran better than ever.
If you would take care of the car it may be better.
