Faults:

Water pump is prone to leaking through the weep hole, wetting lower steering or suspension components.

The plastic cold-side pipe that carries turbo pressure to the engine can crack or break under maximum load while towing, causing a loss of power.

Crankcase ventilation filter : after 150,000 km, it clogs and swells, causing internal pressure to build up in the engine and leading to minor oil leaks.

Exhaust gas temperature sensors and issues regarding Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) crystallization or quality often trigger the check engine light and put the engine into limp mode.

General Comments:

What impresses me most about the F-350 isn't so much its immense power or durability, but—odd as it may seem—its exceptional ride comfort. Far from feeling like a rugged work and towing truck, it drives like a premium car. Compared to my previous Hilux, it represents a massive leap in quality regarding handling and the driving experience. You can cover vast distances, and instead of feeling like you're in a Ford pickup, it feels like you're driving a BMW or Mercedes. Excellent!

Inside, the finishes are of the highest quality, featuring exclusive upholstery (such as black or two-tone Brunell leather), wood trim, and seats with heating, ventilation, and concealed massage functions.

Highly advanced in terms of technology, it features the SYNC 3 system with a touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 360-degree camera, and multiple views to make hitching a trailer easier.

In terms of safety, it also stands out for its radar-based forward collision warning, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) integrated into the taillights, and adaptive cruise control. Among the many features this model offers, I would highlight power-deployable running boards, an integrated tailgate step ("Man Step"), full LED lighting, power-folding towing mirrors, and optional off-road packages like the FX4 (which includes shock absorbers and skid plates).

In addition to its excellent ride, the pickup's strong points, for me, are its impressive torque for heavy-duty work and an exceptionally quiet, comfortable cabin for long trips, not to mention the high-strength steel chassis reinforced with an aluminum body structure.

The only "downside" is that its large size makes parking in tight urban areas difficult, and maintenance costs for a modern diesel engine with emissions systems are high. Apart from that, after covering nearly 170,000 kilometers, I have nothing bad to say about the vehicle.

If I had to sum up this pickup truck, I’d say it’s a blend of durability and sheer luxury. It’s capable of handling tough jobs and cruising the open road with total peace of mind, or, if you prefer, simply driving around your small town.

Faults:

After I purchased this truck, everything was fine. Then at 83000 miles, the turbo went out. Then at 89000 miles, another turbo. Then at 95000 miles, another turbo went out. Then at 102000 miles, another turbo went out. Then at 105000 miles both the motor and the turbo went out. All of this at an out-of-pocket expense of around $27,000.00 And all this time, Ford refuses to step in with any kind of assistance. Ford just keeps saying it is out of warranty and there is nothing that they can do. Personally, I think the lemon law should apply, but Ford said because I did not purchase the truck new, that law does not apply. Very disappointed in the reaction from Ford. Looks like this will end up on as many social media sites this this owner can find. Absolutely crazy.

General Comments:

Until all of the turbo issues started, I really loved this truck. Comfortable ride and it can go anywhere.
