My power steering box leaks sometimes and the head builds up lots of oil sludge if not changed at every service. Nothing else has gone wrong.
I changed the setup completely on mine. It was already great, but I put on roller rockers, lowered the overall height and added a shift kit to my auto transmission.
I drag off VL Commodores at the lights, which is my main achievement, but the big one is the paintwork. Totally original, not a scratch.
My car is king of the XF world.
My car is a XF Falcon Sedan with a 250xflow 5 speed manual (t5), lowered suspension, 245 Hankook tyres and all round gunmetall grey metallic paint. Sports exhausts and extractors with a stage 2 cam.
My XF is very fast and beats the Holden 253 V8s and most VL Commodores.
I have had my 1987 S Pac 10 years now. All I have replaced so far is Steering Box, Clutch and Brake Pads. It is the EFI model with 5 Speed Gearbox. The Monza Red Paint is still in pretty good nick. And is running on 225/60-15 Tyres.
Mate all standard XF Falcon's should beat VL Commodores or at least keep up with them so that doesn't make your XF the king of the XF world and to the fist bloke who commented the same applies if you can't beat an old 253 Holden V8 with a standard XF there is something wrong you boys come to albury on a Friday, Saturday night and i'll show you a XF.
My Xf is completely worked, I didn't do it, I bought it like that for 5 grand. it beats everything that can't beat a 13.7 sec 1/4 mile run.
Hey, I've got a 250xflow XF Falcon sedan with nice 15 inch Michelin low profile & five spoke alloys a set of block hugger headers and extractors, Fully reconditioned Head and block, Mild lift adjustable crow cams, 2.5inch sports exhaust with mandrel bends, Reconditioned gearbox, adjustable electronic/hydraulic suspension and lowering kit, 9 inch ford Lim Slip Diff with full XF body kit and yeah I know it seems like a bit of overkill, Screw-type Supercharger, Jvc Headunit Two 15 inch Rokford Fosgate subs in the rear and with it fully loaded with 5 people it brought a sv8 or whatever Last years holden commodore v8 is owner to tears (Ha HA) I've even got a movie on the thing =)
If somethings coming close to an XF king I think this is pretty close for a supercharged 6 cylinder 250xflow

Bodykits - look at SVO, canberra car styling, fibretec, just google it.
I was just wondering does the 1986 Ford faclon XF s pak have a cat conveter on it or do I have to put one on it.
Hi there, I was wondering if my 1987 xf falcon has a 3.3 or a 4.1 litre motor. On the identification plate under 'engine' it has the letter E stamped on it.

Hey I just bought an XF about 3 months ago. I lowered it, painted it dark blue with 2 pin strips down the bonnet roof and boot with a hornet scoop on a high rise. It's only got a 350 xflow with a cain manifold running a 350 holley with extractors and 21/2 inch lucky exhuast, but I draged my mate's VR, which has a worked engine, chipped and all that crap, and I still beat him. Oh yeah, and I have a single rail 4 speed gear box. I think it's just a freak engine.

My xf has redline intake manifold,350 holley, coby extractors,2.5 inch pipes,5 speed t5 manual, and 3.23 ratio diff, and whips all 302`s.
I got a xf ute and it is a stock 250 x flow it flogs most straight 6 commordors with out evan tryin so that guy who
thought his xf was king is full of him self.
I'm looking for extractors for my xf any one selling?
I have an xf falcon with candy apple paint, its got a ten grand motor in it, its ran a 12.8. only thing is I can't get a 9 inch for it, can anyone help me. diffs last about a week at the moment.
