1969 Ford Maverick 170 from North America

Summary:

I wish I still had it car

Faults:

At 70,000 miles A pin hole in the radiator. The seats where A little ripped and the drivers side padding was mooched down. The paint on the outside, and some of the dash and inside walls where faded.

General Comments:

The car was very fast, and great on gas (30-34 miles to the gallon). But it wasn't good around sharp turns. The best part was it was free, all original with all the original papers. The bad part was the clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing where shot, and it took two weeks to find the parts. But all the parts only cost me $79.00.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

There was no 1969 Maverick, it came out as a 1970 model, albeit an early one.

The first Mavericks were 1969 1/2.Key is on the dash,70's and later had them in the steering column. There are other differences too, but this is the easiest way to spot a 69.5 car.
