1987 Ford Thunderbird Sport review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Mostly previous owner neglect, had to replace all the shocks, hoses, brake service, u-joints, axle bearings & one axle shaft and it still had it's original transmission fluid! At least they changed the oil. Also the cruise control was dead, had to replace that too.
General comments?
Classic solid car, Still not a burner of oil, plenty of get up and go. Prone to rust like most Fords of that vintage, just means a little more care in washing and waxing.
Good "investment", appreciated $300.00 in retail value in one year. Also it doesn't get lost in a sea of Hondas and Nissans.
