I bought my Civic SI in 2003 brand new. I was impressed with the get and go, and the gas mileage.

I have a dumb question. Early on I let the oil get a little low and the maintenance light came on. I could feel the loss of shifting and the car stalled when I accelerated, so I added more oil and the car ran great. This was 40K miles ago, but now it seems that I burn through lots of oil. There is no leak beneath the car where I park it every day. I have to put in a quart about once a month. Somebody suggested using a different viscosity of oil, which I did but it still burns through the oil. Any suggestions?

I bought my 2003 Si new five years ago -- only one more payment and I own it! -- and I love it. Plus I only have 35,000 miles on it.

Even though I have no desire to sell, I was wondering whether the current gasoline prices have had any effect on resale prices. Anyone know?

I own a 2002 Civic SIR (Canadian version of the SI).The car is absolutely bullet proof. Have 104,000 km and no problems whatsoever. Car weighs a hefty 2744 lbs. and it's probably the best built civic ever made. I love the soft, comfortable ride combined with unbelievable handling. Hard to get that combination from many of the sports cars today.

I own a 2003 SI, paid it off in April. The brake light on the dash won't go off, the a/c isn't cooling, the keyless alarm won't work (even though I replaced battery) and if I forget to turn the headlights off, it doesn't beep beep like it used to. Anyone have any suggestions? Brakes are not squealing, metal v. metal, maybe brake fluid needed. Other than these few things, I absolutely love this car!

Just got my 05 ep3 last month. Mom bought it new and drove it like a grandma. At 50,000 she was finished with it and got a CR-V, and asked if I wanted the Si! I really do enjoy driving it, I just want more power. Next month I'm doing a k24 swap with the six speed tranny and turbo with intercooler. A friend of mine smokes Camaros and Mustangs and Porsches all day. But the best was smoking that CBR 900 street bike. Crazy fast!!!

I've had a 91 Civic, a 91 Integra and a 91 Accord SE, which is pretty rare. Love my hondas. Dad taught me how to drive when I was ten in my mom's 86 Civic hatchback!!!!

Bought my 2003 Si off lease July 2007. The car looks and runs great. The car is still bone stock. Haven't had time to do any mods. Don't see too many on the road. That's what I like. Other than that, the car is reliable, good quality and fit.
