1993 Honda del Sol Si review from North America
"A fun, rare car to own"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Changed the timing belt at 75,000 miles.
Changed the water pump at 75,000 miles.
New radiator at 80,000 miles.
Small leak of oil from the oil pan screw, had new threading on oil pan.
Water leaks in from driver and passenger side rooftop.
General comments?
Previous owner did not take care of this car, but after the oil pan leak I've had no problems.
I have this car supped up for summer fun, with body kit, short shifter, intake and exhaust. Very fun car to drive.
Not to good for winter city driving in Chicago though. I've been through two front body kits already.
Great speed, the DOHC Vtec is a monster after 5000 rpm. This car has great pick up and is very light weight.
And to top things off it's a convertible.
