1993 Honda del Sol S review from North America
"I'm curious to see when this car will finally die!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the clutch at 180,000 miles.
I had to replace the radiator at 210,000.
The seats wear badly.
The roof leaks when it rains hard.
You have to buy an aftermarket radio since the one in the car has no power.
General comments?
This is the most fun car I have ever owned. I bought it for $2000 with 152,000 miles on it four years ago. I currently have 211,000 miles. I have done nothing, but routine maintenance on the car. I beat the car regularly by driving it hard and speeding often. The car won't die. Even with this many miles on it, I average 35+ mpg. Make sure you add a K&N air filter because it definitely increased my gas mileage.
If you're considering this car I say buy. By far the best car I've ever owned.
