1993 Infiniti G20 Base 2.0 from North America

Summary:

Awesome handling, fun to drive car

Faults:

- Air conditioning blower resistor went (air doesn't work from 1-3, only 4), but I have found out how to fix that myself for $20 from www.se-r.net

- LCD on the radio died.

- Internal trunk release cable broke.

- CV joints needed to be replaced at 60,000 miles.

General Comments:

Awesome car, handles beautifully and is running well, despite being almost 9 years old. The handling is beautiful as well.

Gas mileage is pretty good, and acceleration is decent. It's only got 140 HP, a few more would be nice, but since it's not 100% my car (share it with my mom), I'm not investing money into it to make it faster.

It's the first car I've driven, and compared to other vehicles I've driven, it's pretty superior in terms on handling. Very reliable too, I drive the car very hard, and manual shift the auto tranny all the time, and the car is holding up to my driving :)

I had a minor accident where I backed into another car at like 15-20 MPH... the G20 took a bunch of damage to bumper and door panels. The other car was unharmed =(

The interior isn't the largest cabin, but the seats and designed well, and are significantly more ergonomic than my dad's 1999 Accord.

Also, I've run into many situations where I've had the ABS kick in, and they work very well. Overall, the car is very fun to drive.

1993 Infiniti G20 from North America

Summary:

This is a great car!

Faults:

The sunroof leaked really bad when it rained. Infiniti told me I would need some $400 part. I took it to a friend and he fixed it for $20.

I have had a new starter put in it.

I have had the brake pads replaced.

The motor in my front passenger side window is broken and needs to be replaced.

General Comments:

This is a great car. I haven't had many problems with it. It is eight years old so things are starting to break, but that's to be expected on any car.

The dealer service is great! They even give me discounts every now and then.

I think the leg room is a little tight. I can't drive for more then 2 hours without stopping because my legs get so cramped.

I brought this car right out of high school. I plan to buy a new I35 Infiniti when I graduate from college in a few months. I will be an Infiniti owner for life.

1993 Infiniti G20 GT 2.0 from North America

Summary:

This car is all about value

Faults:

The car has a very light color of carpet that shows dirt very easily.

The engine is loud at high revolutions.

General Comments:

It is a great car and well worth every penny of the three thousand dollars that I paid for it.

This car would be perfect if Infiniti would have given it another 30 horsepower or so.

1993 Infiniti G20 2.0 liter 4 cylinder 2.0 from North America

Summary:

A very reliable, economical, yet classy car

Faults:

The climate control's lowest fan speed no longer works.

The sun-roof leaks slightly during heavy rain.

The factory radio (AM/FM tuner) no longer works, although the cassette and CD player still do.

General Comments:

This car has been extremely reliable, although a few minor things have started to wear out. I have only replaced tires, CV joints and brake pads. Other than that, it always starts and gets great gas mileage too!

It still has a nice classy look and feel to it... and everything feels pretty tight when driving even though it's 8 years old.

1993 Infiniti G20 2.0 from North America

Summary:

I'm proud to say what I own

Faults:

Nothing!!!

General Comments:

I wish it had more power, but it has enough once you get up to about 2k RPMs in 1st gear, after that it kicks.

It is a very comfortable easy riding car and I absolutely love it. I'm very proud to say what I own. I think it is very nicely styled too.

Oh squirt!! This car just plainly kicks ass. I am 17 and I love speed, emergency brake turns, and fast dirt road racing. Shoot, this car to me is like a rally cross car!!! It also gets plenty of looks, because its always getting washed and because it is pulcritudinous (beautiful). There is a Saris bike rack on top which makes it look extremely sporty, oh yeah there's nothing like going 110mph with an Ibis Mojo Mountaint Bike on top in Mexico's wonderful long stretch of highways.

My point is the Infiniti company did an exceptional job at creating such a WONDERFUL car, going strong with 132k, and just needing struts replacement, this G20 is amazing. Own one and you'll understand!!!
