1992 Isuzu Rodeo LS review from North America
"Great vehicle, poor paint!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The paint on the top portions of the truck have oxidized badly. The oxidization started to occur in 1998. It appears that the clear coat has failed. I asked the dealer what the procedure was for a problem like this. They would do nothing to help or compensate for the problem I don't believe that the paint should have done this, in this amount of time. I have spoken to a couple of other owners that have had the same problem occur with their Isuzu Rodeos.
General comments?
The manufacturer should take a look at helping to replace the paint on the vehicle. Other car manufacturers have had this problem and have paid part of the paint costs.
