2002 Jaguar X-Type review from North America
"Too many repairs at a high price within low mileage range!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
All new brakes and rotors at 35,000 miles.
Moon roof stopped working at 50,000.
Replacement of battery 3 times within 2 years 2006-2008.
Windshield wiper fluid nozzle left side never worked and still does not.
All new brakes and new rotors at 60,589 miles.
Anti-freeze leak.
ABS system warning at 60,589 miles.
Worst of all, my TRANSMISSION just went out at 60,589 miles!!
Console ashtray door won't close!
I have always owned Toyota's, Acura's, Mazda's and never, ever had any problems except oil changes, new tires or new brakes.
I love this car, but in this economy who can afford a new TRANSMISSION at $7,100???
Jaguar 2002 X-Type's need to be recalled for TRANSMISSION failures...
How can we get this approved so we can all get a refund for this disaster!!! An unhappy customer!!!
General comments?
Car drives smooth and fast when all units are working, but it seems like it is always something wrong???
