"An exciting car to own and drive"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Clutch pedal swing became rough at 15,000 and the clutch and hydraulic cylinder were replaced under warranty.

Catalytic converter shattered at 30,000 and was replaced under warranty.

Wiring connection to crankshaft pickup sensor melted (causing complete engine failure on a trip) and was replaced by the dealer.

Rear axle bearing seized at 102,000, thus the entire axle was rebuilt with new bearings by a transmission specialist.

Gas tank (20 gallon) warped and caused strain on the fuel pump and resulted in fuel pump failure. The fuel pump and gasoline tank were replaced at 118,000 miles.

Steering wheel canceling cam failed.. replaced at 121,000.

General comments?

Sure, I have had my share of reasonable problems to deal with on my Wrangler, but I still look forward every evening to driving home from work... that says it all. The car looks and drives like new with over 120,000 miles now. I intend to keep it to at least 200,000. And yes, I will buy another.

My '93 Jeep Wrangler "S" has a rattling clutch pedal at certain RPM. I have had a number of clutch problems with this vehicle. I have 160k on it now, but have had this clutch less than a year. Original lasted 10 years am now on my 3rd slave cylinder. Any ideas??

Thanks for this service.
